To trust means to work together

In the course of the last years we have gotten to know many different organizations and individuals that, like us, are working for the people of Korea. Symbolically, we are all pulling together on the same rope and we support each other mutually whenever it is necessary and useful. Mutual trust has grown through the years. We believe that it is very enriching to invest in these relationships. It inspires us to see others engaging in various ways!

Friends from another organization have connections to several clinics and orphanages that they visit regularly. We support them in their work by financing new surgical instruments for the women’s hospital in Käsong. Our colleagues delivered it in person at the end of October. The same goes for almost 20 tons of food. Thank you that we can support and enable short-term requests with your donations!

We will also be supporting another initiative: A Korean school is building a special “closed circuit” greenhouse with foreign help and know-how. Students and teachers will be instructed in organic farming principles as well as the use and construction of compost toilets. This closed circuit will help save resources and prevent sicknesses from spreading.

This is the plan of the new greenhouse! It will provide students and teachers with vegetables for their lunches.
