You may remember: Last spring we travelled to North Korea with a group of interested Swiss people. Because of the large travel group we were able to fill many suitcases with medical consumables that Dr. Kim had been gifted from his training hospital but was unable to take with him because of the sheer amount of material.
Although the red cross hospital was not on the travel list of places to be visited, we could hand over all these materials during his second visit. There was also a complete “family” of practice dummies for resuscitation measures that was received with shining eyes. Dr Kim was delighted about the visit and during a conversation with his superiors we could win them for the idea of a training session in China. Now we are hoping that words will be followed by actions!
