It’s unbelievable! I am still amazed at what has been happening in East Asia in the past months. Besides the joy and hope I feel, I wonder how long the tension will be eased and how long it will  take until …?

And still: As I have some knowledge of both Koreas, a unification at this point seems impossible, even if Koreans affirm that they are one people and would achieve this. Their everyday lives differ greatly …

The apostle Paul wrote: “And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.” Where I do not have faith, I still have hope that all Koreans will be a united people. Until then, we will express our love – that is simply there! – towards God and our Korean friends by visiting them and making training and meetings possible.
